I remember the first time I saw this show: giant art flags waved in the breeze, white tents full of art meandered along the shoreline, and Lake Minnetonka sparkled beyond. It's a beautiful show...Make a fun day of it with the art, live music, a wine tent, boat rides, and more!

St. Kate's is such a bucolic setting for an art fair...Our crsip white tents are circled by historic buildings, ponds with lovebirds swimming around, and rolling green hills. The patrons are devoted and enthusiastic - the moment last year's storm subsided, they appeared en masse! Can't wait!

Camp overnight and commune with the artists, drive in for the day, or take your boat down the river and dock at Lake Pepin...Enter this world as you wish: All are welcome, come as you are into this amazing, timeless space. I always experience the Stockholm Art Fair as something like a fairy wonderland...It is nestled in a clearing surrounded by towering trees, with patrons and artists mingling freely and savoring the wholesome home cooking of community organizations...People rest on hay bales and take in the folk sounds of Pachouli as an old-fashioned merry-go-round threatens to centrifuge children onto the sand...Come join the dance where everyone hears their own beat. I hope you can make it.

Edina Fall into the Arts Festival

Saturday, Sept. 8, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., and
Sunday, Sept. 9, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The community really comes out to support this show, which benefits the city's Crime Prevention Fund. Patrons stroll along the walking paths next to the lagoon, and there are sweet swinging chairs to enjoy along the way. For easy access to my booth, find (free!) parking near the Container Store.
